Bombardier delivered 26 business jets in the first quarter, but production disruption, sales declines, and delivery shifts will erode Q2 results.

The action comes in response to recent mandates from the governments of Quebec and Ontario to slow the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Bombardier is projected to deliver about 154 business jets this year, up from 142 aircraft last year, as it continues to ramp up Global 7500 production.

Combining Bombardier's business aircraft unit with Textron brings much synergy to the maker of Citation business jets, analysts say.

The Global 7500 donation to Centennial College comes as the school renames its program to The Bombardier Centre for Aerospace and Aviation.

Along with the approval, the Montreal-based manufacturer also announced the delivery of the first 6500 on order with HK Bellawings.

The installation comes ahead of the European ADS-B Out deadline set for June 7, 2020.

VistaJet will receive its first Bombardier Global 7500 in January and foresees strong growth in the Middle East for its charter service.

While third-quarter bizjet deliveries at Bombardier Aviation were flat year-over-year at 31 units, revenue increased due to more Global 7500 deliveries.

The Canadian airframer says its Global Global 5500 now has a range of 5,900 nm.
