In space, he commanded the Inspiration4 and Polaris Dawn missions and performed the first commercial spacewalk.
Precourt, a retired U.S. Air Force test pilot who flew on four space shuttle missions, has more than 11,000 flight hours in more than 90 aircraft types and is type rated in several Citation models. In addition to his NBAA board seat, held since 2019, he serves on the Experimental Aircraft Association board and chairs the Citation Jet Pilots Association’s safety committee.
“Their unique perspectives offer attendees a compelling look at where the industry is headed and how business aviation fits into that future,” said NBAA interim COO Dan Hubbard.
