Pilots Exceeded Crosswind Limits in HondaJet Excursion
Left wing was damaged after aircraft veered off runway and hit a sign
This HondaJet suffered damage to its left wing after veering off the left side of Runway 36L at Orlando International Airport. The wing hit a frangible runway remaining sign. According to the NTSB, the excursion was caused by the crew exceeding the airplane’s crosswind limitation.
