Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

Pilatus Aircraft has delivered the first PC-12 Pro to a U.S. customer some eight months after the Swiss airframer announced the latest update to its venerable PC-12. The Pro incorporates a new Pilatus Advanced Cockpit Environment (ACE) flight deck based on the Garmin G3000 Prime and folds in features such as Autoland.
Pilatus delivered the first copies of the Pro to customers in Australia and Europe last month. U.S. owners Ravi and Pheroza Arcot accepted their Pro edition, S/N 3005, at Pilatus’ North American headquarters in Broomfield, Colorado, and plans to base the turboprop single in the Northeast. Notably, the delivery also comes after Pilatus had <a href="https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/2025-08-11/tariffs-force-temporary-halt-pilatus-us-deliveries">placed a moratorium on U.S. shipments</a> in August due to the 39% tariffs imposed on Swiss products.
“The PC-12 Prop pairs the incredible reliability and legacy of the Pratt &amp; Whitney PT6 with the cutting-edge capabilities of the G3000 Prim avionics,” said Ravi Arcot. “This powerful combination was key to my purchase decision. In addition to our charitable flight endeavors, I’m looking forward to many wonderful family adventures with our aircraft.”
Replacing the Honeywell Apex suite in previous PC-12 NG and NGX models, ACE includes five high-resolution touchscreen displays, a fully integrated Autoland system, and Garmin’s GFC 700 autopilot with autothrottle. Further, the $6.8 million turboprop single includes a 100-pound maximum payload increase, along with more cabin options and special paint schemes.
Pilatus did not respond to&nbsp;AIN’s inquiry about whether this ends the pause on U.S. deliveries and who paid the tariffs for this PC-12 Pro.
