<p>Air Methods’ products division has received an STC for its Eurocopter EC 135 single-pilot IFR avionics package and plans to make it available on the EC 145. The installation features a new instrument panel and glareshield. Operators can choose from avionics components that include dual Garmin GNS430, Garmin GMX-200 MFD, dual Garmin GTX-330 transponders, NAT audio system, Bendix/King KR-22 marker beacon, Technisonic TDFM-6158/RC-6000 FM communications system, Artex C406 ELT, Bendix/King KRA 405B radar altimeter, RDR 2000 weather radar, Honeywell Mark XXI EGPWS, Outerlink CP3 or Sky Connect Satellite Tracking System, Garmin GDL-69 or 69A satellite downlink and an NVIS-compatible instrument lighting package. </p>
