Liebherr Aerospace of Germany and Avic of China are to form a joint venture company for the manufacture of landing gear for the <a href="?q=node/22085">Comac C919</a> aircraft.
The joint venture is between Avic’s subsidiary Landing-gear Advanced Manufacturing Co. and Liebherr Aerospace Lindenberg became a reality when the contract was signed here at the Paris Air Show.
According to Liebherr, the joint venture includes assembly and testing activities for landing gear for the Chinese market and will potentially extend its activities to other geographical markets.
